Backstairs at the White House (1979) is a miniseries based on Lillian Rogers Parks’ memoir My Thirty Years Backstairs at the White House, dramatizing the behind-the-scenes lives of White House staff during the administrations of William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson, and Warren G. Harding. Part 1 focuses on the early years of the Rogers family’s service.
