The Fort Bayard Historic Preservation Society invites everyone to attend a special event at Fort Bayard National Historic Landmark on Saturday, August 22nd. Living History performers from the Society will offer interpretive talks at the New Deal Theater and the historic parade ground between 2 and 4 pm. The public is invited to come out and enjoy birthday cake and other light refreshments as part of the event, which is celebrating the fort's 160th birthday.
